Wolverines’ own ‘Beast Mode’ selected for Western Force Squad

With the release of the Western Force Women’s team list, who will be facing off against Hong Kong at Curtin University tomorrow night one name stood out in particular.

The Wolverines’ own Sera Ah-sam has been included and will be representing the Force in this epic match up!

All of her fellow Wolverines are incredibly proud of Sera’s achievements which are not only well deserved but well earned through a SUPERB amount of hard work and determination, all while juggling a young family!

Anyone who has faced off against Sera will know she is the Gridiron West Women’s League very own #beastmode and is a #force to be reckoned with herself!

Good luck Sera and all of the Force ladies for tonight’s match. And if you can get down and show your support!

These Girls Can!

On the 7th October 2017 the Joondalup based West Coast Wolverines kicked off their 2017/18 Gridiron West campaign hosting the Perth Broncos at Forrest Park, Padbury.

With over 100 supporters in attendance despite the early threat of Spring showers both teams were keen to set the tone for the season early.

Wolverine Women Ready To Go!

It’s proven to be a busy off season here at the Wolverines, with a birthday celebration coming up, expansion of a new squad and building of our current teams.

As we head into the 2017/18 season in just 2 days the Wolverines will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary as affiliated members of Gridiron West. Starting a team is no easy task, but keeping it afloat and continually building for 10 years is a testament to all of the work that has been put in by the team management, players and support staff over the years. So firstly I’d like to take the opportunity to say thank you to everyone involved since the inception of the club on behalf of all of the current members, and to all those who continue to work tirelessly both on and off of the field to keep the team going.

Young Wolverines put on a show at Junior AGL

On Saturday 9th April 2017 the Junior Australian Gridiron League kicked off in Queensland. With three junior Wolverines having the opportunity to travel and represent Western Australia, all for the first time, it was a great opportunity for the young guns to show what they were capable of.

The three players selected were 4 year junior Wolverine and 2nd Year Quarterback Kyle Webzell, 2nd Year Running Back Alex Endall and Rookie Running Back Uriah Faamasino. All three showed incredible talent and potential in trials and earned themselves a well deserved spot on the state roster, and none were going pass up the opportunity to put their skills on display on a national stage.
